We are Ryan & Jade Rose, married, traveling expats from the Pacific NorthWest!

In 2011, we met and fell in love in our hometown of Portland, Oregon. A month later we were separated by state lines, which lasted for two years while Ryan obtained his masters degree and taught at a university. He graduated and moved back home just in time for our July nuptials.

In the summer of 2013 we married. Just two months later we moved half way across the globe. 

We landed in Northern England where Ryan is now working toward a PhD and Jade is designing for her bridal line, Lady Evelyn.

The majority of our relationship has been either long distance or moving from one place to another. The longest time we have ever spent in the same city together has been here, in England. Now it feels like home. As of January 2015 we have lived abroad for a little over a year and have decided to document our experiences as American expats and avid travelers.
